Kiang J. Liu is Professor and Associate Chair for Research in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. His research interests are in cardiovascular epidemiology and statistical methodology for epidemiologic research. As Principal Investigator (PI) of the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) Chicago Field Center and Co-Principal Investigator of the Coronary Artery Risk Development in (Young) Adults (CARDIA) Chicago Field Center, he has over 30 years of experience in conducting longitudinal cohort studies of racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse populations.
